On January 20, 2023, we are honored to host Foundations for a Better Oregon's 2023 Legislative Summit, inviting policymakers, community and education leaders, and philanthropy to build shared vision for Oregon children, public education, and care.
This year's Legislative Summit comes at a critical moment: What we do to support Oregon children today will determine the kind of Oregon we have for decades to come.
With bold leadership, we can confront age-old injustices, address unprecedented new challenges, and renew Oregon’s promise to learners of all ages—no matter their identity, zip code, or life circumstances. Together, we can rebuild public trust in public education by strengthening community partnerships and bolstering accountability. Together, we can advance equitable and effective solutions that support every child in Oregon to learn, grow, and thrive.

Keynote
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Ulcca Joshi Hansen, Chief Program Officer at Grantmakers for Education, and author of The Future of Smart, will join the 2023 FBO Legislative Summit to deliver a keynote address.

FBO's 2023 Legislative Summit will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Evergreen in Portland, Oregon. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. and lunch will be provided.
To join the Summit, please register your attendance in advance no later than Thursday, January 12, 2023.
